The symbol of the scale of Justice is a perfect example, there is a measure and it is called neutrality and it has to do with a state of being reached by meditation, the ego / mind, partiality /duality or the principle of polarity inside the material realm is part of our fragmented reality which in essence comes from the one, the higher we go in consciousness the less divided we are, of course the process of integration is accepting our ego but that is not the only thing we are, the individuation process is to let us know that even when we are among many differentiated individuals it is all an unity that resembles the whole, then we see that we are back to one/ SELF, closer to essence and the original plan / divine being / soul. In the lower ego we see the differences as opposed to each other, in higher self the differences are just sort of grades of the same thing, exemple, love and hate are the same energy in different measure, the seven hermetic principles is a wonderful summary, even Thoth, an ancient spiritual teacher, warned us about the 7 archons, we belong to a higher reality, earth is just the veil. Of course we need to spiritually be evolved for not to be controlled by materialism, in our material nature, we have needs to cover but we are beyond our body and its needs. The universe is mental and the mind creates division but we need to know that at the end of each incarnation we need to transcend the mind and the 7 planes of existence. AKA the gods and the archetypes that are the hierarchical order of the lower reality, they are the shadow and the illusion we call light, even the positive side of all, even our potential is hidden in the shadow even as the doormant soul. Think of the scale of Maat, at the end, our heart will be weighted and if it is not neutral as Her Feather, the archons have the right to rule above us because we are in their world.
