It is already written in the previous post, “know thyself”, your desire to know your inner being will guide you, your shadow and your demons are part of yourself, wisdom, AKA Sophia, will guide you if you allow her in humbleness awaken your soul, She left origunal prints before the fall to guide us, it is part of the inner work we need to do to evolve, Know “Thyself” not as something external to follow but your inner will and guidance is your inner guru. For the way you are asking it already shows you know what you need to continue your journey of knowledge alone, no one can tell you who you are but yourself.

What does it mean to know thyself? To actualize my desires or to understand who I am in my desires? If I actualize my desires, will it create karma? Should my desires lead me to my spirit without actualizing them in the material world?

Since day one society is telling us who we are or who we should be, and Voila…. The Persona is created, the mask, the people pleaser… Hopefully you are a teenager, seeking identity trying to cut loose from the programming, kudos to you if that is the case
Ask yourself that question and start knowing who you are, don’t ask anyone how to know yourself, you are going to sound like the Super Tramp song…. “Please tell me who I Am…”. Geee give it a break already, you have all your answers why do you need to prove yourself intelligent in front of anyone else ? No need of that friend, have a good week, bye.-

I know very little about Gnosticism, but I remember some words from the Gospel. In them, Jesus asked his disciples who he was, in their eyes. “And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am? They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again. He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.” Luke 9:18-20
So my questions may well sound like those of a teenager, but I believe that anyone who already knows themselves is heading towards their own death. It seems to me that knowledge is linked to the process of dying. When it comes to God, he remains a god only because we do not know who he is or what his name is. Thus, the very knowledge of God is beyond human reach. That is why God remains immortal and omnipotent.

The passion or desire of The Christ that humanity should find the kingdom of God within oneself didn’t create Karma but abolished it, The Christ Consciousness descended to the deepest places of karmic debt and nailed it to The Crossing Over… Karma belongs to the lower places and there, it is nailed for not to follow us in the process of Alchemy or transforming Lead/matter/flesh into Gold/The Soul // Colossians 2:14 refers about it, in The Crossing Over our karmic debts are paid, the higher we go in Consciousness the less karma accumulates, it gets dissolved.
Knowing Thyself by the merging to the higher Christalline , Christ Self/Soul/Original Self doesn’t accumulate karma, it diminishes the karmic debt because your real self doesn’t have karma, the lower ego or FAKE SELF accumulates karma, the higher ego, the transcendence beyond the lower realms allows us to reach Christ Consciousness what is called “The Crossing Over”.
The higher humanity evolves in Consciousness, the clearer the karma debt and the persona show, the masks, fall down as the fake identity FAKE I AM, gets unveiled through The Crossing Over dimensions which makes our conscious and unconscious mind clearer of karmic debts and the principle of cause and effect.-

I don’t understand the point of being born into the material world if the aim is to shed this incarnation and find oneself in the Pleroma and the higher realms of reality, where karmic debts are in their embryonic form or non-existent. We are already there. It is part of who we are. Why turn our backs on the lower realms of reality? Doesn’t it seem rather childish to run away from a place where you suffer, where you feel unwell and vulnerable?
One might speak of reuniting with the higher structures of a single body, but how would that cancel out karmic debts? You say that Jesus abolished karma. I beg to differ. Jesus created for himself the karma of the Saviour, which has been at work for over 2,000 years. Billions of people pray to him, and everyone is waiting for salvation. What could be more burdensome?
