Hi there to you all. My name is Ishaana, I am 31 years old. I am in unfamiliar, yet familiar territory, and I would like to experience true connections and a deeper understanding to life’s purpose.
I grew up in Hinduism, yet something about rigid practices never felt authentic to me. Though I believed in a higher power, I was never drawn into the traditional molds of practice, which consequently led to feelings of being incomplete and inadequate, and that I wasn’t doing it right or not good enough.
I have had struggles with my emotional and mental health for 10 years since the age of 19. Currently, I moved back a familiar home, and I have discovered my body going through something quite unbelievable which drew me into esoteric studies. I am experiencing more awareness and very suddenly. And unfortunately, the values I grew up with suddenly do not align with my ultimate purpose anymore which makes me feel distant to my family. The goal for me on this platform is to engage with people that can be understanding, finding support and making genuine and long lasting connections.
